Where can I find private ski lessons in Colorado?
There are some private lessons (for any age) that meet at Vail Village, Golden Peak, Lionshead or even Mid Vail, so be careful when booking to note the location. Vail Colorado has full-day and half-day small group workshops for four skiers and fewer.
Can You Drive to Lionshead?
The beautiful and friendly Lionshead village is completely closed off to cars and buses, offering a short walk to the Eagle Bahn gondola, Chair 8 (Born Free Express), Lionshead Children’s Ski School, the Arrabelle Square outdoor ice rink (with skate rental), and numerous shops and restaurants.
What is the Vail Ski and snowboard school?
The Vail Ski and Snowboard School offers a variety of programs that provide tools for technique and education of the mountain experience. Participants of all ages are sure to get the most out of their winter vacation on the slopes.

We had pre-paid and still took us an hour and 15 minutes to get through the maze no help with rentals, where to go and how it all worked. Inside staff acted like we did exist. Supervisors were useless.

Just wanted to make sure there wasn’t a massive difference between the quality of ski schools. There is a lionshead parking lot that is actually closer to the lionshead lessons than the Vail village parking is to gold peak. Lionshead as a base will be much busier than gold peak.
