Is Startup School more inclusive than YC?

While Startup School is more inclusive because it is free and online, diversity efforts are a little more muddled when it comes down to actual material and curriculum. Migicovsky said that YC hasn’t tracked demographic data yet, but it may be something the team will track in the future.

Startup School is a resource created by YC for anyone considering starting their own company; it is not meant to replace YC’s core program. While being part of Startup School does not automatically improve your chances of getting into YC, it can certainly help indirectly by making your company more successful!

YC launched a co-founder matching platform about 3 months ago. There are now 16,000 co-founder profiles on the platform.
