What classes do our advanced level firearms instructors offer for 2021?
Our Advanced Level Firearms Instructors have developed defensive and tactical training classes for 2021. Classes include Defensive Shotgun, Concealed Carry Handgun Training and Tactical Pistol Training. Students are required to complete the basic courses as a prerequisite.
How much does it cost to take a NYS firearms course?
Group classes are a cost-effective way to further your firearm knowledge and skill. Classes offered include: NRA Basic Pistol Class (9 hours). General NYS Firearms Law and Basic Safety Course (3-4 hours). On Target Firearms now also offers certified security guard classes: NYS 47 hour firearms course for Armed Security Guards. $500 for the course.
What is the NRA instructor training course?
The NRA Instructor Training Course is designed to teach you how to teach others to shoot using NRA lesson plans and training methods. The course is not designed to improve your shooting skills. Possession of basic firearm safety and/or shooting skills is a prerequisite for certification as an NRA instructor.
