Official rabbit hopping competitions consist of a straight course, a crooked course, high jump and long jump. Straight and crooked courses are divided into 5 levels.

Rabbit hopping is a performance sport where rabbits are directed to run through a course of jumps ranging from 4 – 20 inches high. The jumps are similar to the jumps used for horse jumps, but on a much smaller level. All jumps are made with displaceable rails so that if a rabbit does not make it over the jump the rails will fall away.
What is the difference between rabbit hopping and rabbit agility?
Some people get rabbit hopping mixed up with rabbit agility. There is a large difference between these however, rabbit agility is when the rabbit goes through a course made up of things like small jumps, tunnels, teeter totters, and other obstacles.
