College Classes in AACPS The Signature Program, in partnership with Anne Arundel Community College, currently offers AACC college courses taught by AACC college professors during the regular school day in several of our high schools.
When do the 2021 AACPS virtual master classes start?
The Virtual Master Classes will run online July 6 -July 8, 2021. The Chesapeake Arts Center has partnered with AACPS to offer a variety of in-person Art Camps for our students this summer free of charge.
How do you get an S grade in AACPS?
Prior written consent from the school principal or designee, after advisement with the school counselor, is required. For these dual credit courses, students receiving an AACC grade of ‘A,’ ‘B,’ ‘C,’ or ‘D’ will receive an AACPS grade of ‘S.’
What kind of instruction does AACPS provide?
Life skills, functional academic, and self-determination instruction are provided by an AACPS Special Education teacher and supported by AACPS teaching assistants. Course selections will vary from year to year but are typically in the areas of art, health, and physical education. Project SEARCH
The AACC Catalog is the official source of information for degree information to college policies and procedures. When you declare a program of study, the catalog in effect for that year is your official curriculum guide. AACC offers associate degrees, certificates, letters of recognition and professional certificates in dozens of fields of study.
Students outside of AACPS may register; however, there will be a fee associated per course. Summer Camps: AACPS Summer 2021 Camps are free for AACPS students.
